Chandra Williams is a visual artist, an arts education consultant and a teacher.
In 2001 Ms. Williams completed a BFA in Printmaking and Drawing at Washington University in St. Louis.
In 2001 Ms. Williams relocated to Oxford, Mississippi where she held the post of Museum Educator at the University of Mississippi for five years. In this capacity she had the to opportunity to use art and artifacts to teach hands-on lessons in science, history, culture and art around the state of Mississippi.
In 2007 she opened The Brilliant Easel Art School providing learning opportunities in visual art for artists of all ages and skill levels.
Ms. Williams teaches many forms of visual art but is most sought for observational drawing. This skill was developed over a ten year study of human vision, the brain and the human mind.
Ms. Williams is a fun teacher who is passionate about all forms of art and expression. When she is not teaching art she is working with music (www.afrissippi.org), working in the community, spending time with loved ones, writing, or just laughing and enjoying life. |
